Sainsbury’s toy sale 2026: 20 deals from £1.87 with up to 50% off

by Ricky Willis · published 21 October 2026 at 10:30 · updated 21 October 2026 at 10:48

Sainsbury’s is offering discounts of up to half price on selected toys, with LEGO, Barbie, PAW Patrol and Disney products among the deals available.

Skint Dad has checked the supermarket’s online toy sale offers on Wednesday 21 October 2026 and picked out 20 discounted products, including toys costing less than £5 and larger LEGO sets.

Most of the offers we’ve checked are reduced by around a third, although there are also 25% discounts and a half-price deal.

We’ve put together a price comparison table so you can see exactly what each toy costs and how much you could save.

Some of the toys included in Sainsbury’s sale

Boomer Monster Truck toy with orange and grey vehicle, large tyres and a small dog figure
LEGO Botanicals Peace Lily 11504 building set with white flowers, green leaves and product box
LEGO City Hot Rod 60485 with purple and green car, minifigure and product box
Barbie Bubbletastic Mermaid doll with pink bubble-making tail and accessories

Which toys have the biggest discounts?

Of the 20 products we’ve selected, the Rubble & Crew Boomer Monster Truck has the largest percentage discount, dropping from £17 to £8.50.

The LEGO Botanicals Peace Lily offers the biggest saving in pounds, with £18.70 off the advertised £55 price.

For smaller Christmas presents, there are cheaper options too. The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks assortment costs £3.33, while the LEGO City Hot Rod Race Car is £5.94.

It’s worth checking the discount carefully, though.

Most of our selected products aren’t actually half price. Sixteen have discounts advertised as a third off, with another three reduced by 25%.

Is the Sainsbury’s toy sale available in stores?

Sainsbury’s is displaying the offers on its website and says there are even more toys available in store.

However, stock and product ranges can vary, and we haven’t confirmed which branches carry every discounted toy.

If you’re planning to visit a particular supermarket for one of the deals, it may be worth checking availability before travelling.

Skint Dad has contacted Sainsbury’s for further details about the wider sale.

Watch out for delivery and collection charges

If you’re buying toys online, it’s worth checking how much delivery or collection will cost before ordering.

Sainsbury’s currently has a £25 minimum order for home delivery through its grocery service.

Standard next-day delivery costs £7.50 on orders under £50, which could make buying one or two inexpensive toys much less worthwhile.

There’s no minimum spend for grocery Click & Collect, but charges apply.

Standard collection costs £4 for orders under £25, while larger orders start from 50p. Check the total at checkout before deciding whether collecting your toys is worthwhile.

If you’re buying an £8.50 toy, you’ll need other items to meet the £25 minimum for home delivery. Alternatively, collection charges could eat into the saving if you’re only buying a small amount.

You can check Sainsbury’s delivery charges before ordering.

When does the Sainsbury’s toy sale end?

We haven’t confirmed an overall end date for the toy sale.

Sainsbury’s advises online shoppers to select the offer icon beside a discounted product to see its promotional conditions and how long the offer runs.

This is useful because individual offers may have different end dates.

Stock may also run out before a promotion finishes.

Skint Dad says:

We’ve checked 20 toys and found that just one is actually half price, with most reduced by around a third.

The discounts look tempting, but what matters is the final price. If you’re buying a toy that’s already on your Christmas list, compare it elsewhere first.

An extra delivery charge could quickly wipe out the saving.

Our four Christmas gift rule can help you plan presents without buying more than you intended.
