Walkers has recalled a sharing box of snacks sold at Iceland because the packaging doesn’t warn shoppers that one of the bags inside contains wheat (gluten).
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued the allergy alert on 30 October 2026.
The missing warning could put people with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or coeliac disease, at risk.
Which Walkers snack box is affected?
The recall covers the following product:
- Product: Walkers Variety Snacks Sharing Box
- Pack size: 655g box containing six packs
- Batch code: 107543
- Best before: 21 November 2026
Check the batch code and best-before date on your box to see whether it’s affected.
Why has it been recalled?
The sharing box contains an 85g bag of Monster Munch Giants Roast Beef, which contains wheat (gluten).
However, this isn’t mentioned in the allergy information on the outside of the box.
According to Allergy UK, the individual bags inside are correctly labelled and do list wheat as an ingredient.
The affected boxes were sold at Iceland stores only.
No other Walkers or PepsiCo products are affected, including the same snack bags sold separately.
Skint Dad says:
Sharing boxes are handy for packed lunches, but it’s easy to separate the snacks from their original packaging.
If someone in your household has a food allergy, always check the ingredients on each individual packet rather than relying on the information on the outside of the box.
What should you do if you’ve bought one?
If you have an affected box and you or someone in your household has an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or coeliac disease, do not eat it.
You can get a full refund by contacting Walkers directly.
