I happen to have an old, dried out mascara sitting in my drawer at home, so off I popped to the Boots Benefits counter to claim my freebie.
How do you get a Benefit free sample of mascara?
Have a rummage around your drawers, in the bottom of your handbag or in your make up bag and find an old, disused mascara.
Then, head to a Benefit counter.
In my town, we’ve got two counters, one in a Boots and one in a larger department store.
You can usually find Benefit in Boots, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Debenhams and some boutiques. Take a look here to find your closest store.
When in the store, head to the Benefit counter and simply tell them you want to trade in your old mascara. It doesn’t need to be from Benefit and could just be one from the pound store.
You just hand over your old one and walk out with a Benefit free sample.

What free Benefit mascara can I choose from?
You’ve actually got the choice of three different types of Benefit mascara.
Depending on how much stock they’ve got left, you’ll be able to choose from one of three different free deluxe sample mascaras.
You can choose from:

A volumising mascara that creates MASSIVE volume without weighing down lashes
Each of the mascaras is 3g. A full size is 8.5g and is worth £21.50 or a 4g Benefit mascara sells for £10.50
So this freebie is worth around £7.59 (that’s more than I spend on a full sized mascara!)
You’re able to get one mascara per person and you don’t need to buy anything.
As my town has two different stores very near each other, and I had two old mascaras, I was lucky enough to grab two freebies :)
