Dermot walks out on stage and suddenly…”YOUR SATURDAY NIGHT STARTS RIGHT HERE!!”
While it can be great curling up on the sofa with a blanket and a cuppa (or wine/beer/gin…pick your preference), sometimes getting in the action is even better!
It may seem like only big names get on the guest list, but you’ve got a chance to attend too.

Free X Factor tickets
Getting free X Factor tickets is actually quite easy.
You just need to have a little bit of luck and a bit of patience thrown in.
Anyone can put their name down to get free tickets to see the X Factor with Applause Store.
Just choose which date you fancy watching the X Factor and, if you’re lucky, you’ll get an email with confirmation and your e-ticket 48 hours before the show.
Some of the days can be really popular so it can just be a matter of keeping your fingers crossed or applying a few different times.
Filming takes place at the LH2 Studios, London W3, so you need to be able to get there and back on the day.
You need to be at least 16 years old to get the tickets. However, if you’re 16 or 17 you need to be accompanied by an adult.
Oh, and their rules state that you much “dress to impress”.
So, while you can get your tickets for free, that’s not an excuse to run out and buy something glam as I’m sure you’ve got something in the back of your wardrobe that’s perfect ;)
Don’t ever buy them
Because the X Factor tickets are given away for free, you should never buy them.
Even if it’s a show you’re desperate to attend, the tickets you buy could get cancelled and you probably won’t get in any way.
At least one person attending needs to have the same name to match what’s on the tickets.
Some people do try to sell their ticket on sites like eBay and while they may get the cash for the sale, the person who buys them will not get into the event.
Plus, the person selling them may also face formal proceedings against them.
It’s just not worth the hassle!
See you there!
So, we’ve got our ticket…we may see you there!
You’ve usually got to be at the studios for 5pm, ahead of the filming and it’ll all be finished by around 9:15pm.
However, for the tickets we’ve got, it’s the first time ever (!) that the X Factor will be filmed earlier in the day to be streamed “as live” later in the evening.
This is due to Robbie Willaims starting his tour in Chile so he can do the show then fly off late the same night.
We’ve been to the filming of loads of different TV shows in the past including game shows and we even got to watch Sports Relief.
While you do need to pay to get in and out of London, the rest of the event doesn’t cost you a penny and it’s a good fun night out.
