If you’re with Octopus, this is a simple way to grab some treats without paying a penny.
Pink Friday runs from Monday 24 November to Tuesday 2 December, and you’ll find everything inside the Octopus Energy app. Treats drop each morning, and they go fast, so timing matters.
The giveaway includes food, days out, cuddly toys and even the chance to win an electric car.
For families trying to stretch their budget a bit further, it’s a nice boost at the end of the month.
What freebies can you get?
Here’s the full line-up for Pink Friday week. Every treat is free for Octoplus members, but you need to click quickly before the stock runs out.

Monday 24 November – Greggs Treat Drop
8,000 free Greggs sausage rolls or another savoury item if you prefer.
Tuesday 25 November – Constantine Chocolates
Free packs of chocolates for thousands of customers.
Wednesday 26 November – ODEON Movie Night
Up to two free cinema tickets per customer.
Thursday 27 November – Constantine Plushie Takeover
10,000 cute pink plush toys up for grabs.
Friday 28 November – £8 off UberEats
Money off your Friday night takeaway.
Cyber Monday – £8 meals at Ask Italian
Another food treat to round off the shopping weekend.
On Giving Tuesday, customers can send a discounted Appleyard London bouquet to someone they care about for just £8. Usually, these cost far more, so it’s a thoughtful gift on a budget.
Chance to win a brand new electric car
Each day from 24 to 28 November, Octoplus customers can enter a prize draw for one of two electric cars:
• OMODA E5 Noble worth £35,064
• Jaecoo J5 Pure worth £28,005
Two winners will get a phone call on 28 November between 3 pm and 3.30 pm. To claim the prize, they must answer the question “What day is it?” with the phrase “It’s Pink Friday”.
How to take part
To get your freebies:
- Open the Octopus Energy app.
- Tap on the Octoplus section.
- Grab the treat of the day before it runs out.
- Enter the daily prize draw if you want to try for the car.
You’ll need to be an electricity customer, have a working smart meter that sends half-hourly readings and pay by direct debit to join Octoplus. Business and smart prepayment customers can join too.
Pink Friday tech deals
If you have been planning a bigger purchase, there are also discounted green tech offers:
- MG4 deal with 12,000 miles of free charging
- One month of free heating credit when you buy a heat pump
- 3-for-2 on solar panels when buying a Fox EVO 10 battery
- £250 off a Fox EVO 10 battery-only installation
These won’t suit everyone, but they could help households already thinking about switching to greener options.
Is Pink Friday worth it?
If you’re already with Octopus, yes. Most people will grab at least one freebie across the week.
A free Greggs or cinema trip saves a family a small chunk of cash at a time when money is tight. It also adds a bit of fun in the run up to December.

Skint Dad says:
If something is free, easy to claim and useful, it’s worth a look. Pink Friday ticks all three boxes.
Quick tips to maximise your chances
- Open the app early. Items go quickly.
- Set a reminder for each morning.
- Make sure your Octoplus account is active before the week starts.
- If you want the plushie, Thursday is usually the busiest day.
- Don’t forget to enter the car draw each day.
Final word
Pink Friday is a rare moment where a company gives more than it takes. If you’re an Octopus Energy customer, the freebies are well worth grabbing. Even if you only get a chocolate bar or a sausage roll, it’s something free at a time when everything else feels more expensive.
