Qmee review UK 2026: is it legit and worth using?

Qmee is one of those money-making sites I first used years ago and then largely forgot about.

I logged back into my old account in September 2026 to see what had changed and found something I’d forgotten myself: I’ve cashed out £843.19 from Qmee over the years, and I still had another £13.42 sitting in my account.

Qmee has changed quite a bit since we first wrote about it. It used to be best known as a browser tool that paid you small rewards for searching online. You can still earn through searches, but paid surveys are now much more central to Qmee, alongside cashback, games and other offers.

I logged into my own Qmee account and checked the current surveys, earning options, balance, cash-out history and how Qmee works today.

One of Qmee’s biggest advantages is that there is no minimum PayPal withdrawal amount, so you don’t need to build up £5, £10 or £20 before getting your money.

What is Qmee?

Qmee is a free rewards website and mobile app where you can earn money from online activities.

These currently include:

• paid surveys
• cashback offers
• gaming offers
• rewards from some online searches
• referring friends

Paid surveys are much more prominent now than they were when I originally started using Qmee.

You can use Qmee on desktop as well as through its mobile apps.

This is not something I would use expecting to make a proper wage. Think of it as a way of making small amounts of extra money when you have some spare time.

My experience with Qmee

I can give you more than a general review because I have actually used Qmee myself.

When I logged back into my account in September 2026, my cash-out history showed £843.19 in lifetime cash-outs through PayPal.

There was also another £13.42 sitting in my Qmee balance.

I certainly didn’t earn £843 overnight.

This account goes back years, so those little amounts have built up over a long time.

Still, when someone asks me whether Qmee actually pays, I don’t have to rely on what somebody else says.

It has paid me.

How do you make money with Qmee?

There are several ways to earn.

Paid surveys

Surveys were by far the most noticeable earning option when I logged back in.

Qmee shows available surveys together with the reward and an estimated completion time.

On the day I checked, I could see surveys offering anything from 18p to £1.31.

The estimated times ranged from 2 minutes to 16 minutes.

For example, my dashboard showed:

• £1.22 for around 5 minutes
• 28p for around 2 minutes
• £1.31 for around 16 minutes
• 43p for around 5 minutes
• 31p for around 4 minutes
• 18p for around 5 minutes

That immediately shows why you shouldn’t click the first survey you see.

If two surveys take roughly the same amount of time and one pays several times more, I’d pick the better-paying one.

My account also showed a survey streak feature where you can unlock an extra 10% reward.

Getting paid to search the internet

Yes, Qmee can still pay you for searching online.

This matters because paid searching was the reason I originally started using Qmee.

You can use Qmee with your desktop browser and may occasionally see opportunities to earn money while searching online and interacting with sponsored results.

However, Qmee feels very different today.

Surveys are now much more prominent.

So if you found this article because you remember Qmee as the site that paid you to search Google, that feature hasn’t disappeared.

I just wouldn’t join Qmee expecting searches to provide most of your earnings.

Cashback

Qmee also has cashback offers.

You click through to a retailer or company, complete the qualifying purchase or action and receive a reward if everything tracks correctly and you meet the offer conditions.

I wouldn’t buy something purely because cashback is available.

If it is something you were already going to buy, that is when it makes more sense.

Games

Qmee now has gaming offers too.

These usually involve downloading or playing a game and completing certain tasks to qualify for a reward.

Check what you actually need to do before starting.

A reward that looks attractive may take far longer to earn than completing a few surveys.

How much can you make with Qmee?

There isn’t a useful amount I can promise you.

And I wouldn’t trust a review that tells everyone they can make a set amount each day.

How much you earn will depend on things such as:

• how often you use Qmee
• which surveys you qualify for
• how many surveys are available
• how much those surveys pay
• whether you use cashback or gaming offers
• how much time you are prepared to spend

Survey availability can also vary from person to person because research companies are often looking for very specific types of people.

I would put Qmee firmly in the extra pocket money category.

How does Qmee pay you?

One of the things I have always liked about Qmee is the cash-out system.

There is no minimum amount needed to withdraw to PayPal.

So if you have 50p sitting there, you don’t need to keep completing surveys until you reach £10 before getting your hands on it.

Qmee says PayPal withdrawals will normally arrive quickly, although outside payment systems can sometimes cause delays.

You can also choose gift cards or donate your balance to charity.

For me, no minimum PayPal cash-out is one of Qmee’s strongest features.

Is Qmee legit?

Yes, Qmee is a genuine rewards platform.

More importantly for this review, I have personally received money from it.

Qmee is operated by Kantar UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

That answers the question of whether Qmee itself is real.

It doesn’t mean every survey will be worth your time.

Is Qmee safe?

I have used Qmee myself without having a problem, but it is worth knowing what information you are sharing.

To match you with surveys, Qmee can collect profile information such as your age, postcode, employment, education and income range.

It also collects some information about your device and how you use Qmee.

Some surveys may ask for extra personal information.

My rule with any survey site is simple: if you aren’t comfortable sharing something, don’t share it just to earn a few pence.

What do other Qmee users say?

Feedback from other users is mixed.

When I checked in September 2026, Qmee’s UK iPhone app had a rating of around 4.6 out of 5 from roughly 23,000 ratings.

Trustpilot showed a more mixed picture across more than 10,000 reviews.

Positive feedback often mentions quick cash-outs and being able to withdraw small amounts.

Recent negative reviews include complaints about being screened out of surveys, sometimes after spending several minutes answering questions, as well as account and customer service issues.

That doesn’t wipe out my own experience of being successfully paid.

It simply means Qmee isn’t perfect.

What are the downsides of Qmee?

The biggest frustration is being screened out of surveys.

You can start answering questions only to be told you aren’t suitable for that particular study.

This can happen because you don’t match the type of person the research company needs, enough responses have already been collected, or the survey company’s checks reject the answers.

Another downside is that some surveys simply don’t pay enough for the time involved.

That’s why I would always compare the payment with the estimated time before starting.

Is Qmee worth it?

For me, Qmee makes sense if you use it for what it is.

It is a way to make a little extra money during spare bits of time.

My own account shows that those small amounts can eventually add up, but I would still be picky about which surveys I complete.

Look at how much a survey pays.

Look at how long Qmee says it should take.

If a survey wants 15 or 20 minutes of your time for pennies, I would skip it and wait for something better.

I certainly wouldn’t rely on Qmee as regular income.

But if you’re sitting watching television, waiting for an appointment or have ten minutes spare and want to earn a bit of extra cash, it can have a place alongside other survey and money-making sites.

You might be screened out because you don’t match the people the researcher is looking for, because enough people have already completed the survey, or because the survey provider’s checks reject your answers.

Unfortunately, this can sometimes happen after you have already spent time answering questions.

Does Qmee have a referral scheme?

Yes, Qmee runs a refer-a-friend scheme from time to time.

Its current terms say the referrer can receive a reward when someone signs up through their referral link and then makes their first PayPal or gift-card cash-out.

Is Qmee a scam?

No. Qmee is a real rewards service operated by Kantar UK Limited, and I have personally received payments from it.

That doesn’t mean everybody has a good experience. Some recent users have complained about survey disqualifications, account problems and customer support, so go into it with realistic expectations rather than treating it as guaranteed income.

Can you use Qmee in the UK?

Yes.

Qmee is available in the UK and its terms say users must be at least 16 years old.
