Tesco has launched a summer offer that gets you £10 in free Clubcard points, and the best part? You don’t need to spend a real penny extra to get it.
If you’ve got £5 or more in unused Clubcard vouchers, you can trade them in for a Reward Partner code (like zoo tickets or theme parks) and Tesco will give you 1,000 bonus points (worth £10) back into your account. It’s a proper win-win.
In summary, for £5 in Clubcard vouchers, you get:
- £10 Days Out reward voucher, and
- £10 (1,000 points) back in Clubcard points for future use
From what I see, even if you don’t use the £10 Days Out voucher, you’ve spent £5 in points and get £10 back!
It’s only running until 29 July 2025, so there’s a small window to get in on it.
How to get the free £10 in points
It’s nice and simple:
- Make sure you’ve got £5 or more in Clubcard vouchers in your account.
- Go to the Days Out section of Tesco’s Clubcard Rewards site or use the Tesco app.
- Exchange your vouchers for a Days Out reward (this could be places like LEGOLAND®, Go Ape, or SEA LIFE).
- That’s it – Tesco will automatically add 1,000 points (worth £10) to your Clubcard account by 19 October 2025.
When you trade £5 of vouchers for a reward partner, you usually double the value. So you’re already getting £10 of days out, plus another £10 in bonus points for later. That’s £20 of value for a fiver’s worth of vouchers.
What counts as a ‘Days Out’ reward?
This is where it gets a bit picky. Tesco has a special section just for Days Out, which is different from Entertainment.
So this includes things such as theme parks, zoos and aquariums, gardens and stately homes, attractions like Go Ape and KidZania.
It doesn’t include things like Disney+, Cineworld or Picturehouse.
Only the proper ‘Days Out’ rewards are part of this deal, not things like streaming or cinema codes.
Any catches?
There are a few rules to be aware of:
- One per Clubcard account – you’ll only get the bonus points once, even if you do multiple exchanges.
- Clubcard Together groups count as one account – so couples or families using a shared Clubcard can only claim once between them.
- You’ll need to keep the code and not cancel it — if you get a refund or cancel, Tesco might take the 1,000 points back.
- The bonus points don’t arrive straight away – you’ll get them by 19 October, so don’t panic if you don’t see them instantly.
Is it worth doing?
Yes, if you’ve already got £5+ in vouchers lying around, it’s a great use of them. You’ll get:
- A fun day out (worth double the voucher value)
- £10 worth of Clubcard points back into your account
- No need to spend any real cash to trigger it
It’s ideal for families looking for a summer activity on a budget, or anyone who wants to turn points into more points.
If you weren’t planning a day out, it might not be worth exchanging just for the sake of it, but if you fancy a treat, this is a great way to make your Clubcard work harder.
