Tesco launches “Tesco Tuesdays” – see the latest films for just £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers

by Naomi Willis · updated 9 October 2025

Tesco Clubcard members can now get Cineworld cinema tickets for just £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers every Tuesday. Here’s how the new Tesco Tuesdays deal works and how to claim your cheap tickets.

Tesco Tuesdays

Tesco Clubcard members can now turn Tuesday nights into cheap movie nights with a brand-new offer called Tesco Tuesdays.

Every week, you can get Cineworld tickets for just £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers: that’s half the usual cost when you double your voucher value through the Clubcard Rewards scheme.

What is Tesco Tuesdays?

Tesco Tuesdays is a new weekly offer from Tesco and Cineworld. Every Tuesday, Clubcard members can book up to four standard 2D tickets at Cineworld for £5 each or £2.50 if you use your Clubcard vouchers.

The offer runs every Tuesday and is available for any film showing on that day. So whether it’s a scary Halloween flick or the next big Christmas blockbuster, you can enjoy the big screen for less.

How to get Tesco Tuesdays tickets

It’s really easy to take part:

  1. Log into your Tesco account – either on the Clubcard app or on the Tesco website.
  2. Head to Clubcard Rewards and choose Cineworld as your Reward Partner.
  3. Exchange a minimum of 50p in Clubcard vouchers for a Cineworld Reward Partner code (worth £1 in value).
  4. Go to the Cineworld website and look for the Tesco Tuesdays ticket option when booking your seats.
  5. Use your reward code to pay for your discounted tickets.

You can get up to four Tesco Tuesdays tickets per booking, and it’s only valid for Tuesday showings.

Why it’s a smart deal

Cinema tickets have become pricier in recent years, often costing £8 – £12 per person. Using just £2.50 worth of Clubcard vouchers means you’re getting a night out for a fraction of the cost.

Putting aisde the need to get a discount on food, it’s another example of how valuable Tesco Clubcard can be when used smartly. From restaurant meals to family days out, Clubcard Rewards can stretch your money much further than spending your points in-store.

As Tesco’s loyalty director Shama Wilson put it, “Tuesday night can now be movie night every week for Tesco Clubcard members.”

Final thoughts

Tesco Tuesdays is a simple but brilliant way to get more from your weekly shop. If you’ve been letting your Clubcard vouchers expire or sitting unused, now’s the perfect time to swap them for a cheap night out.

It’s a small treat that won’t blow the budget, and it makes those midweek nights a bit more exciting.
