If you’re already dreaming about next summer’s holiday, now’s the time to act. EasyJet is about to drop its summer 2026 flights this Tuesday, 22 July, and if you’re quick, you could bag a serious bargain.

Booking on launch day isn’t just about being organised, it’s one of the smartest tricks in the money-saving playbook.

Here’s how it works and what you need to do to beat the rush.

Why booking early matters

EasyJet doesn’t have fixed prices. Instead, they use something called “dynamic demand pricing,” which just means the more people book, the more prices go up.

But there’s one golden moment when hardly anyone has booked yet: the exact minute seats are released.

That’s when prices are often at their lowest. In the past, we’ve seen flights double in price just a few hours after launch.

Being ready to book right first thing in the morning when the sale launches could save you hundreds.

When are easyJet’s summer 2026 flights going live?

EasyJet has confirmed that its summer 2026 seats will be released before 9 AM on Tuesday 22 July 2025.

The flights will cover 15 June to 13 September 2026, which includes the school summer holidays.

They won’t say exactly how many tickets are up for grabs, but in 2024 they released 18 million seats, with more than half to or from the UK. So expect plenty of availability…for about an hour.

How to get the best price

Here’s how to prep like a pro:

  • Know your route – Have a few destinations and dates in mind, so you’re not wasting time browsing.
  • Do a price check now – Look at current prices for this summer to get a rough idea of what’s “cheap”.
  • Book fast – Once flights are live, prices climb quickly. Don’t hang about.
  • Don’t assume it’s a bargain – Just because it’s launch day doesn’t always mean it’s the cheapest. A quick comparison helps you avoid overpaying.

Final tip: avoid the faff

If you’re serious about grabbing cheap seats, skip the app and book directly on the EasyJet website. It tends to update quicker and crash less.

And if you really want to play it smart, rope in a friend or partner to check the site too. Twice the chances, half the stress.

Is it worth the hassle?

Absolutely. If you’re flexible, you could snag return flights to Europe for under £50pp or less.

Past launches have seen thousands of savvy travellers grab the cheapest seats within minutes. Waiting until the evening could cost you double or more.
