Morrisons cuts meal deal to £3.65 with More Card – here’s how it compares

Morrisons has cut the price of its food-to-go meal deal to £3.65 for shoppers with a More Card.

The new price started on 28 September 2026 and gets you one main, one side and one drink.

Without a More Card, the same deal costs £4.25.

That means shoppers using a More Card can currently pay less for a standard meal deal at Morrisons than the prices we checked at Asda, Tesco and Co-op.

What’s included in the £3.65 Morrisons meal deal?

The deal includes one main, one side and one drink.

As well as sandwiches, wraps, pasta and other usual lunch options, Morrisons says the range includes freshly prepared baguettes and subs, pastries, individual ice creams, Costa Express drinks and Krispy Kreme doughnuts at participating stores.

A medium tray from the Morrisons salad bar can also be chosen as a main. It normally costs £3.75 on its own.

Morrisons also still offers a premium meal deal for £5.50.

How does the Morrisons meal deal compare?

We checked the current standard meal-deal prices at several of the other big supermarkets.

That puts the Morrisons More Card price 9p below Asda and 20p below the Tesco and Co-op member prices we checked.

There is an important catch, though.

If you don’t use a More Card, Morrisons charges £4.25. At that price, Asda’s £3.74 meal deal is 51p cheaper.

So Morrisons may be promoting its new deal as the cheapest supermarket meal deal, but that only works if you are using its loyalty scheme.

How much does using a More Card save?

The difference between the Morrisons More Card price and its normal £4.25 meal-deal price is 60p.

If you bought one meal deal each working day, that would add up to £3 over five days.

Of course, buying lunch from a supermarket every day can still add up, and taking food from home will usually cost less.

But if you were going to buy the Morrisons meal deal anyway, scanning a More Card means paying £3.65 rather than £4.25.

Is the £3.65 Morrisons meal deal good value?

It can be, particularly if you choose products that would cost close to or more than £3.65 when bought separately.

The salad bar option is another example. Morrisons says a medium salad tray normally costs £3.75 on its own but can be selected as the main within the £3.65 deal.

The bigger point is that the loyalty price is what matters here.

The Competition and Markets Authority reviewed around 50,000 supermarket products sold with loyalty prices and found that 92% offered a genuine saving compared with the usual price in the same store.

The Morrisons meal deal is a good example.

£3.65 is cheaper than the other standard supermarket meal deals we checked if you use a Morrisons More Card.

Without one, it isn’t.
