Morrisons matching prices
Pretty much every supermarket is price matching now, which can make it a lot easier to make sure you are getting the best price when shopping.
Particularly when they are all matching the lower costs with the bargain supermarkets.
While Tesco and Sainsbury’s have been matching for some time, Asda was the first to announce that they are price matching both Aldi and Lidl.
Now, Morrisons is also following suit.
Morrisons is not just stopping at food items like bread, rice, and baby wipes.
They’re also including important household stuff like bleach and toilet rolls in their price match promise.
This means more savings on the things we use every day.
Some of their current price matches include:
- 4 pints milk – £1.45
- Large ripened avocado – 89p – plus earn 125 More Points
- Oranges, 5 pack – £1.39, plus 150 More Points
- Chopped tomatoes – 40p
- Lean mince 5% fat – £3.59
This is only on set products, though. So, it could be another supermarket will be cheaper overall if there are other items you plan to buy.
Morrisons is making it super easy to spot these deals, too.
They’ve put up signs all over their stores and online to highlight the best-selling essentials that are price matched.

So, whether Aldi or Lidl has the lower price, Morrisons will match it.
This means we can shop confidently, without having to worry about jumping from shop to shop to get the best price on basics.
They will be matching the prices twice a week and will either be matched or lower than Aldi or Lidl depending on which supermarket is cheaper.
The prices will be in the majority of stores as well as online.
However, offers and prices may be different at Morrisons Daily.

Martin says
Morrisons is the most expensive supermarket and it will probably still cost more overall. They have the odd deal but their own brand items are more expensive than other stores.
