I know Easter isn’t for a month or so, but when you’re working to a budget it’s best to be prepared!
While Easter may not cost as much as Christmas, putting a little aside each month into a sinking fund or buying a few bits and pieces ahead of time, means you don’t need to have a big knock to your finances the days before Easter.
One of my favourite thing about Easter is Cadbury Creme Eggs.
I don’t want them in a brownie or baked into a cake; I just want the gooeyness as it comes!
Yes, I know they contain a lot of sugar, but it’s a treat 🙂
Cheap Cadbury Creme Eggs
Maybe it’s because you can only get a creme egg in the run up to Easter that it makes them more appealing.
As you’re only able to buy them for a few months of the year, it definitely makes them more special.
Not one for wanting to pay more, I’m always on the lookout for deals on creme eggs.
The best ongoing deal is usually to get 3 eggs for £1. This then gives you the price of 33p an egg, but there is a better deal here!
From 13 March, you’re able to get Cadburys Creme Eggs from just 20p an egg.
In Tesco, a box of eggs (choose Cadbury Creme Egg, Caramel Egg or Oreo Egg) will be sold on offer for two boxes for £2.
That gives you 10 eggs at just £2 – the same as 20p per egg.
The deal shared on hotukdeals suggests the promotion will run until 19 March 2019.
if you’re a mega fan of creme eggs, have you ever tried a white one?
There is a promotion running at the moment to win up to £10,000 if you come across a white chocolate creme egg.
They are being sold in supermarkets and independent retailers across the UK up until Easter.
Last year, many unscrupulous shoppers opened the packaging to check if there was a white egg instead of buying them (what a waste of chocolate!).
However, there is an easy clue to check to find a white chocolate egg 🙂
