YouGov is a survey site that pays for your opinion.

Signing up is easy; you need an email address or can sign up using your Facebook account.

Once you’ve collected enough points, you can cash out £50 to your bank via transfer.

The opinions of YouGov members are widely talked about in the press (not individually but anonymously as a group). If you’ve got an opinion, this is where to share it to be heard!

Surveys usually last no more than around 5 minutes each and you normally get 50 points.

If the surveys are longer, you earn more points.

Is YouGov legit?

YouGov was founded back in 2000, so has a long track record.

The results from the surveys are used in the media and press to go alongside current news topics, so are very highly regarded in the industry.

YouGov is a legit survey site.

It can take a little time to save up enough points, but cashing out £50 is very possible.

See the proof below.

Proof of £50 cash out

You need to save up 5,000 points, and then you’re able to cash out £50 straight to your bank (via BACS payment).

You can cash out using the main website, their mobile site or by using their app.

Payment arrives in your bank account within no more than two days.

But, if you cash out over the weekend or a bank holiday, it can take a little longer.

Earn more with YouGov Flash Surveys

It’s clear members don’t want to wait until they reach the big £50 limit, so YouGov is trying a new kind of survey.

As well as their usual surveys, you can opt in to take part in additional surveys to redeem rewards and smaller amounts.

Instead of collecting YouGov points, you can collect money and can redeem them as soon as you hit £2.

The surveys don’t last forever so you need to be quick to respond to them (which is why they can be gone in a “flash”).

In the same way, this is paid out directly to your bank account.

It will also mean the chance to complete more surveys and earn more.

The usual points collection is continuing as well.

Do you think this is better than waiting for £50?

Been using you gov safe for some time but just been offered the finance portal. I’m always worried about sharing my details so can we be sure this is safe?
Thanks for the site, it is great!

Hi Mary, I’ve not heard of the YouGov finance portal, but that doesn’t mean it’s not legitimate. I know I’ve been asked a few times if I’m interested in joining other panels but haven’t had an invite as yet. Have they asked you via email to sign up or was it on the site itself? I’d personally check the privacy policy page to make sure it looks like a legitimate site.
