We’ve looked to find some of the best Easter Egg deals and offers online if you can’t or don’t want to head to the supermarket.

Even though you’re still able to buy Easter eggs in all the main supermarkets, both in store and online, trying to get a slot for delivery is still difficult.

Just a note to add, the Prime Minister of New Zealand has said that the Easter Bunny (and Tooth Fairy) are considered key workers although they may have difficulty getting to people’s homes.

It’s well worth showing this video to your kids!

Cheap Easter egg deals

If you cannot get to a supermarket store, don’t have time to queue up outside or can’t get a supermarket delivery slot, we’ve found where to shop online for cheap Easter Eggs.

Amazon

Amazon has a huge range of Easter Eggs, gifts and ornaments in stock so you can plan an Easter Egg hunt.

Amazon is still sending deliveries daily.

Make your own

To be different, why not ditch buying the standard eggs and make your own!

Buy a chocolate Easter egg mould, melt any old bars of chocolate and make a variety of sizes.

You could wrap them in tin foil, or simply add a little bow.

Why not even try and fill them or coat them in hundreds and thousands?

There are lots of different moulds for sale here

Vegan chocolate at Holland and Barrett

Holland and Barrett is selling a white “chocolate” Easter egg for under £3.

The egg is a blend of rice powder, cocoa butter and natural vanilla flavouring, and is free from palm oil.

They also have a range of free from dairy, gluten, wheat and nuts.

Some of their Easter eggs are also organic, suitable for coeliacs and certified kosher too.

Cadburys Gifts Direct

Cadbury Gifts Direct sell a big selection of Easter Eggs.

They’ve already started their Easter egg sale too!

If you like to have something a bit special, you can even personalise your Easter gifts.

Order before 4 pm and you can get next-day delivery.

For standard delivery, you need to place your order before Thursday 9th April.

Be warned though; there is a long wait time to get onto the site. So, grab a cuppa and join the queue.

Studio

Studio offering flat Easter Eggs!

Nope, they are not squashed, and although it might sound weird, these gifts will fit through your letterbox, which is perfect for contactless deliveries.

Many of them can be personalised too.

Thorntons

Thorntons is running an offer to get 3 for 2 on their Easter eggs and gifts.

Although stores are closed, they have still been taking orders online.

Cheap Easter egg deals in the supermarkets

If you can get to the supermarkets, prices for smaller eggs start from less than £1.

Remember to check out bargain retailers B&M and Homebargains who also have a range of cheap Easter Eggs too.

Many supermarkets are still offering multi-buy discounts on eggs, and there are usually no shopping limits. There’s no reason to go silly and start hoarding chocolate – just buy what you need.

Don’t just go shopping for chocolate eggs, but try to buy responsibly and get your food shopping at the same time, making sure to keep a 2m distance from others.

When is Easter 2020?

This year, Easter Sunday falls on Sunday 12th April 2020.

Good Friday is on 10th April 2020, and the Easter Bank Holiday Monday is on 13th April.

But, if you’re having an issue with deliveries, remember what the Prime Minister of New Zealand said about the Easter Bunny having to stay home to look after his own family.

You could always push Easter back a week or so cause, let face it, does anyone know what day it really is anymore?!
