It’s easy to start collecting Nectar points at Argos.
From 16 September 2020, you can collect 1 point for every £1 you spend both online and in-store.
You’ll be able to collect Nectar points across Argos’ range of DIY, home, health and beauty, garden and toy products.
Argos and Nectar will also be running special promotions which will allow you to collect bonus Nectar points on some products.
How to collect Nectar points at Argos online
Log in to your Argos account, then click on Account at the top right-hand side.
Click on Ways to Pay, and you will be able to add your Nectar card details.
You will need your Nectar card number and password.
Once you’ve done this, you will be able to collect points on all your purchases, as well as spend points.
Points will show in your Nectar account within 30 days.
How to collect Nectar points at Argos in store
If you are shopping in store – whether that’s a stand-alone Argos store or one in Sainsbury’s – you need to have your Nectar card or app with you.
When you’ve selected the products you want, present your Nectar card or Nectar app to the colleague at the till, and they’ll swipe it.
If you’re picking up reserve and collect orders, you must swipe your Nectar card/app at checkout when collecting your items in store.
Nectar points from your purchases will be shown in your balance within 30 days.
How to spend Nectar points at Argos
You’re able to spend your points at Argos in store and online.
500 points are worth £2.50 when purchasing products through Argos.
When you’re shopping online (make sure you’ve connected your Nectar account), you can choose how many points you want to spend at check out (minimum 500 points/£2.50).
In a similar way for in store, if you want to spend any of your points, hand over your Nectar card/app in Argos and request a minimum of 500 points (same as £2.50) be used to pay.
You need to spend points in 500 Nectar point increments unless the points cover the entire purchase price.
You can use a mixture of Nectar points and cash/card payment/Argos Gift Cards.
However, there is a limit on the number of points you can spend in one go.
You’re able to spend a maximum of 40,000 Nectar points (same as £200) in one transaction.
It is the same limit, whether you shop online or in-store.

Where else can you collect Nectar points?
There are loads of ways to collect Nectar points.
Doing a Sainsbury’s food shop is one obvious way, but there are loads more ways to get even more points.
Shopping at eBay, getting fuel, travelling by train and even reading a paper (Mail Rewards) can get you collecting points that much quicker!
Also, keep a look out for Double Up 2020 events where you can collect double Nectar points on your purchases at Sainsbury’s.
