If you are partial to the odd sausage roll or steak bake, Greggs is a good call to fill you up.

However, you don’t always need to pay full price and there are ways to get food for free.

Save your pennies and take a look at how to get a deal on your favourite baked goods.

Free Greggs food offers

Download the Greggs App and you get rewarded for what you eat.

For a limited time, there are also freebies to be had.

When you first download the app, you can pick from your favourite regular-sized coffee, tea or hot chocolate for free.

You have 31 days after signing up to redeem the reward from the wallet in the Greggs app.

Ongoing Greggs for free

Using their app, each time you buy a sausage roll or sandwich, pizza or drink, you can collect stamps in a category.

Once you collect 9 stamps in a category, you get the 10th item for free.

Once you are ready to redeem your reward, head to the “wallet” section of the app, and toggle the reward to “on”. Then, show the app at the till to get your free food.

Greggs is the only place to give away grub. Check out these other ways to get free food.

Birthday freebie

As well as free food when you first sign up, you get a treat each year through the Greggs App to help celebrate your birthday.

You’ll have a month to claim either a free cupcake, cream cake or doughnut.

Find out about other birthday freebies.

Free hot drink with o2/Virgin Media

Customers of o2 and Virgin Media broadband can get a free for drink any day of the week from 7 AM.

Open up the o2 Priorities app and you can access a code to get a free takeaway drink.

You can redeem the code once a week and it’s limited, so I suggest you pick a Monday, rather than waiting until the end of the week.

Don’t activate the code until you’re in a store as you only have 25 minutes to use it.

Free breakfast or sausage roll with o2

Also part of o2, you can also get a free sausage roll on either a Friday or Saturday.

You cannot use the free breakfast roll code on the same day you get a free coffee (from the tip above).

There are 25,000 available each week, and you need to claim yours before 10 AM.

Pick from a breakfast roll, sausage roll, vegan sausage roll or cheese and onion bake.

Cheap Greggs – Too Good To Go

Ok, so this may have been sold out when I looked, but it does prove that you get cheap Greggs.

With Too Good To Go, you buy a Magic Bag filled with food near to its best before or use by date.

What you get will change each time. It depends on what’s left or what food wasn’t sold that day.

You get £12 worth of food for just £2.59 and need to pick it up from the bakery before a set time.

It’s a great way to get some cheap Greggs food.

But if you have any food alergies, intollerences or are a bit picky with what you eat, it might not be best for you as you can’t guarantee the food you’ll get.

What other ways have you seen to get Greggs food for cheaper?
