Kids Eat Free this half term at M&S

by Naomi Willis · updated 13 October 2022

This deal has expired. However, there are other kids eat free offers still running.

M&S Café is bringing back its Kids Eat Free offer this half term in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (dates vary).

It was initially set up as a three-week trial, but they extended it for the whole of the six-week break due to customer demand.

Over 200,000 free kid’s meals were given out over the summer.

And the offer is back this October half term across the country.

Kids Eat Free at M&S Café

The Kids Eat Free Offer will run over 340 M&S Cafes to support families and their kids over the half term.

Kids can enjoy a main, snack, and drink from the Kids’ Munch Menu for free (usually priced at £3.95).

Hot mains include:

  • Pancakes with blueberries and honey
  • Jacket potato with sausage and baked beans
  • Ham and cheese toastie
  • Cheese and tomato pasta
  • Pizza options

Alternatively, kids can pick up a ham mini roll or cheesy triangle sandwich from the Café chillers in animal packaging.

As a bonus, all purchases in the Café are eligible for a free piece of fruit for kids. So, essentially that means children get a four-piece meal for free over the holidays.

However, £5 has to be spent on other adult food or drink for the offer to be valid.

The deal is running from:

  • Monday 17th – Friday 28th October in England and Scotland
  • Monday 31st October – Friday 4th November in Wales and Northern Ireland

Sharry Cramond, Marketing & Hospitality Director at M&S, said, “We know customers are feeling the pinch at the moment so we’ve worked really hard to make sure we’re not only offering families a great value and welcoming meal in our Cafes over the half term holidays, but a completely delicious one too, even for the fussiest of little eaters!

“Our kids menu is all freshly made with the best quality M&S ingredients, from vitamin-D enriched bread to British outdoor bred pork sausages. After all this is not just any free kids’ meal, this is an M&S free kids’ meal. We can’t wait to hear what they think!”

Morrisons Cafe offers for kids to eat free at all times of the year, as well as other deals and price drops throughout the year.

Asda has recently accounted that over 60s can access a soup, roll and hot drink meal deal for £1 in November and December this year.
