Poundland is launching its much-anticipated rewards app, Poundland Perks, across 62 stores in Scotland starting 13 June 2024.
The loyalty scheme has already been trialled in the Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland, and it’s ready to roll out in Scotland.
It’s expected that the app will be available to the rest of the UK later this year.
What is Poundland Perks?
Poundland Perks is a rewards app that lets you save money, earn points, and get special treats while shopping at Poundland.
Here are some of the benefits:
- Exclusive discounts: Get up to 25% off on up to 25 promotional products. These offers are regularly updated, so there’s always something new to discover.
- Spin the Wheel competition: From time to time, Spin the Wheel appears in the app. You can spin for free six times a day for the chance to win a prize. It’s a physical prize, so you need to give them your address so they can send it out. It’s not there every day, though, so you need to check in.
- Rewards points: Earn 100 points for every £1 you spend. Collect 5,000 points and receive a £1 voucher to spend in-store. So, you’d need to spend £50 over time to then get a £1.
Vouchers are sent in the post each month, but they do have an expiry date printed on them, and you can only use them in stores in the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland or Scotland at the moment.
When their loyalty scheme rolls out to the rest of the country, I can see that vouchers could be used in any store.
Be aware that you can only earn points and get discounts if you use a staff till rather than a self-service checkout.
The app is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.
