Personalised prices at the till – Sainsbury’s Your Nectar Prices is going nationwide

by Naomi Willis · updated 17 July 2025

Sainsbury’s is bringing Your Nectar Prices to all supermarket checkouts. Here’s how to unlock your personalised offers and start saving every week.

Your Nectar Prices Sainsburys

Sainsbury’s is cranking up the savings, and this time, it’s personal.

From Friday 25th July, their Your Nectar Prices scheme will finally roll out to all supermarket tills across the UK.

This means shoppers can now unlock exclusive weekly deals on the things they actually buy (instead of that rogue jar of capers you’re never going to eat), and use them whether they shop in-store, online, or at the checkout.

What are Your Nectar Prices?

Your Nectar Prices is Sainsbury’s personalised discount programme, offering tailored offers based on your shopping habits.

Every Friday, you’ll get up to 10 new deals, hand-picked from things you buy regularly or might fancy trying.

Until now, this was only available via SmartShop, the Sainsbury’s grocery app, and online. But now you can use your deals at the regular tills too.

How does it work?

It’s dead simple:

  1. Register with Nectar (if you’re not already) via the Nectar website or download the app.
  2. Every Friday, open the app or website and unlock your new weekly offers.
  3. Shop as normal, either online or in-store.
  4. Your savings will be applied automatically at the checkout when you scan your Nectar card or app.

You’ll still get the standard Nectar Prices (discounts available to all Nectar members), but Your Nectar Prices gives you an extra layer of savings just for you.

What can you save?

Sainsbury’s reckons customers could save over £150 a year using Your Nectar Prices.

So far, over a million people use it each week, racking up more than £60 million in savings last year alone.

And now it’s open to all digital Nectar users, not just those using the techy bits like SmartShop.

Where can you use the discounts?

Your Nectar Prices work across loads of categories – from everyday essentials like milk and bread, to treats, toiletries, pet food, and baby bits.

So if you’re loyal to the same shampoo or have a soft spot for custard creams, your weekly shop just got a bit cheaper.

You can now use your personalised prices:

  • At Sainsbury’s tills (from 25th July)
  • Through SmartShop
  • On Sainsbury’s online grocery and the app

All these prices! What do they mean?

I know, I hear you.

My price, your price, why not just give me the best price?!

As a bit of history, My Nectar Prices launched back in 2021, but only when you used the self scan, ShopSmart.

Then there’s Nectar Prices, which gives everyone a discount on products the store chooses each week.

And now we have Your Nectar Prices with personalised offers (that you need to manually choose) each week.

So simple, yeah?
