Do you have clothes from Shein that you no longer wear? Maybe they don’t fit anymore, or your style has changed?

Well, move over Vinted – instead of letting them gather dust in your wardrobe, why not sell them on Shein Exchange?

It’s a simple way to make some extra cash and give your clothes a second life.

Shein Exchange is a new and easy-to-use platform that is a great alternative to eBay. It allows you to resell your unwanted Shein clothes.

It’s available directly through the Shein app, so you don’t need to download anything new.

Shein Exchange – reselling your clothes

Shein Exchange makes it easy to list your items for sale.

In the app, I head to “Me” at the bottom right, and then in More Services, Shein Exchange is there.

As a seller, click on the sell button to show you a list of everything you’ve bought from Shein before.

You find the item you want to pass on and click on the “Sell” button next to it. This makes the whole process quick and straightforward, so you don’t need to fill in too much information.

However, there are some items you can’t sell for hygiene reasons, such as jewellery.

While you may not want to use Shein Exchange as the only selling site, it can be handy for getting your items seen by even more people.

Plus, as you’re selling to other Shein customers, they’ll already be happy with the quality of their products.

Quite a few items I’ve seen listed are still in their packaging – so brand new! I wonder whether people have missed the return date and are selling them instead of getting a refund.

Either way, it’s another option to shop for cheaper clothes or a place to sell your unwanted things.

How much does it cost?

When you sell an item, Shein charges a 5% fee of the sale price.

Once your item sells, shipping is done through EVRI, and you’ll get a prepaid shipping label to print out.

Why use Shein Exchange?

Shein Exchange is not just about making money or saving money by buying second hand.

Selling unwanted clothes is also a way to help the environment. By selling your unwanted clothes, you’re taking part in the circular economy, which is all about reusing and recycling to reduce waste.

It’s easy to use, with direct access through the Shein app and a straightforward listing process.

Plus, you’ll be part of a growing community committed to sustainable fashion.
