It has been announced that the receipt scanning app StoreWards is closing!
StoreWards in the UK have announced they are closing down the app.
From 31 October 2024, you will no longer be able to scan photos of your receipts, collect coins, or cash out.

You MUST cash out as soon as possible before 31st October, or you will lose anything you’ve earned.
It’s a real shame, as this was one of my favourite apps. You could guarantee to earn coins each day through a log-in bonus and totting up 600 points for each receipt.
While it’s one less way to earn, this is not the first app to close over the years, with us losing Bing, Receipt Hog and Shopprize in the last few years.
What other apps could I use?
StoreWards was such a simple and easy app, but that doesn’t mean you need to miss out!
There are plenty of other receipt scanning apps where you can make money with very little effort.

What was StoreWards?
StoreWards was an app that allowed you to earn money by taking photos of your receipts.
You’d earn coins or points for each receipt you snapped. Plus, you’d get bonus points for just logging in each day.
When you saved enough, you could cash out for an Amazon voucher or through cash via PayPal.
