If you’re a regular Waitrose shopper, there’s now another reason to swipe your loyalty card.
The supermarket has rolled out a new rewards system called ‘Little Treats’, giving MyWaitrose members free products and discounts every month.

It’s being described as Waitrose’s biggest giveaway since it brought back free coffee earlier this year — and it’s completely free to take part.

How ‘Little Treats’ works
Once you’ve signed up to MyWaitrose, you’ll find a ‘Little Treats tracker’ in your online account or app. This keeps track of how much you spend in a month and unlocks rewards along the way.
Here’s how it breaks down:
- Spend £50 in a month and get your first treat
- Spend £100 and unlock another
- Spend £250 and grab a third
Each month, the tracker resets, so loyal shoppers can earn new treats throughout the year.
The perks can vary, but they include free Waitrose products, discount vouchers, or money off your total shop. Waitrose says it’s their way of saying thank you to customers who keep coming back.
Extra perks for MyWaitrose members
‘Little Treats’ joins a line-up of existing MyWaitrose benefits, including:
- Free hot drinks when you shop
- 20% off selected items at the service counter
- The monthly Waitrose Food magazine, full of recipes and ideas
- Regular personalised offers tailored to your spending habits
Altogether, there are now 10 different perks for members, all free to access once you’ve signed up.
Why Waitrose is doing this
Supermarkets are all fighting for loyalty right now, and Waitrose is clearly trying to reward regular shoppers who might otherwise head elsewhere.
Even if Waitrose isn’t your main supermarket, there’s no harm in signing up to MyWaitrose if you pop in for the odd top-up shop or coffee. It’s one of the few loyalty schemes that doesn’t require you to spend a fortune to get something back.
Skint Dad says: “You don’t have to be a Waitrose regular to benefit. If you shop smart — buying what’s on offer or using a voucher here and there — you can still pocket a few freebies each month. Free is free, no matter where you shop.”
How to sign up
It’s free to join MyWaitrose. Just register online or through the Waitrose app, add your digital card, and you’ll start collecting perks automatically.
If you already have an account, check the app — your ‘Little Treats tracker’ should already be live.
Final thought
Free rewards aren’t life-changing, but small savings do add up, especially when the weekly food shop keeps getting pricier.
Little Treats is a small gesture that gives shoppers a bit back, whether that’s a free bunch of flowers, a pizza for tea, or a few quid off your next trolley.
