What is Co-op’s Member Prices?

Coop member prices

Co-op’s new member prices are exclusive deals and discounts available only to Co-op members with a loyalty card.

The discounts range from extra money off the popular freezer filler deal to discounts on award-winning Irresistible pizzas, ready meals, wine, British BBQ lines, and fresh fruit ranges.

Member Prices are only available for people who have a Co-op membership card.

Examples of Member Prices

Here are a few examples of the savings you can make with deals today:

  • Members pay £5 for Co-op’s Irresistible Pizza 510G (serves two) – non-members pay £6.45
  • Members pay £3 for Co-op’s Irresistible Pizza 235G (serves one) – non-members pay £4.10
  • Members pay £5.00 for Co-op’s freezer filler deal (it’s £6.00 for non-members) – the total savings on the latest deal for members is £7.50

The new member prices offer an average member saving of £8 per deal on the freezer filler.

How to access Co-op’s Member Prices?

Co-op’s new Member Prices are available in-store from Wednesday, 19 April 2023.

To access the discounts, you must have a Co-op membership card, which costs £1 to sign up for.

Simply visit Co-op’s website, and follow the steps to become a member.

You can also download the Co-op app, which offers weekly personalised offers that are available to all members.

Benefits of Co-op’s new Member Prices

Co-op’s Member Prices offer a range of benefits to members, including exclusive discounts and deals on popular products.

The discounts are designed to help members save money on their weekly grocery shop, which is particularly important in today’s economic climate.

In addition to the new member prices, Co-op offers members other benefits.

Benefits include earning 2p back for every £1 spent on own-brand products, the Co-op Community Fund, which donates 2p for each pound you spend to local community causes, and weekly personalised coupons.

Is it worth it?

Having a Co-op Membership Card to access Member Prices is potentially now the way only for Co-op shoppers to save money on their grocery bills.

Although you need to pay to join the loyalty scheme, you make your savings back quickly.

With exclusive discounts and deals on popular products, you could save up to £300 a year (if you buy the deals they offer – but will you?).

Co-op isn’t the first supermarket to offer member-only discounts.

Tesco Clubcard Prices launched in 2020, Morrisons also reduce pricing for their loyalty card holders, and Sainsbury’s Nectar Prices also recently started.

Price fixing at its best, the pizza was never ever £6.45. The member price is still expensive. Total joke and jumped on the Tesco bandwagon. Bye bye co-op. Another ploy to get people’s details, blackmail them into becoming a member. Membership should be free by the way, where does the £1.00 fee go?
