You can now collect Nectar points every time you charge your vehicle with Smart Charge, Sainsbury’s ultra-rapid EV charging service.
Earn while charging
Starting this month, you can earn 1 Nectar point for every pound you spend when charging your EV at any of Sainsbury’s Smart Charge locations.
There are over 400 charging bays across the country and new locations being added regularly, so it’s never been easier to rack up those Nectar points.
It will be rolled out to all sites before 24th June.

You simply need to have a Nectar loyalty account (if you don’t have one already) and make sure your account is scanned when you charge your vehicle.
Sainsbury’s Smart Charge is the first EV charging service in the UK to offer loyalty benefits through a loyalty scheme like Nectar.
This means you can now collect points at over 600 brands, including Sainsbury’s, Argos, Habitat, British Airways, and Esso.
