It’s with great sadness that the Shopprize app has announced they are closing in September 2022.
What’s happening to Shopprize?
Shopprize in the UK has announced they are closing down the app.
From 30th September 2022, you will not be able to scan photos of your receipts, collect coins or cash out anymore.

It’s best to cash out as soon as possible and withdraw your saved coins before 30 September 2022 or you will lose them.
To be honest, I’m not totally surprised.
New users have not been able to get access to the app for some time.
Plus, if existing users deleted the app (for any reason), they struggled to get the app back.
What other apps could I use?
Shopprize was such a simple and easy app to use, but that doesn’t mean you need to miss out!
There are plenty of other receipt scanning apps where you can make money with very little effort.
Some of the best include:
- Amazon Shopper Panel (although there is a waitlist – a good sign of how popular it is)
- Storerewards
- Shoppix
What was Shopprize?
Shopprize UK was an app that allowed you to earn money when taking photos of your receipts.
You’d earn 100 coins or points for each receipt you snapped. Plus, you’d get bonus points for just logging in each day.
When you saved enough, you could cash out for an Amazon voucher or a Google Play gift card.
The app was only available on the Google play store.
