Entering surveys online isn’t a get get rich quick scheme, but if you have time you can still make a decent amount of money (£200+) every month.
There are two truths I must tell you. Firstly, I get inundated with requests about decent survey sites as, up to this point, they have not had their own little space on Skint Dad.
The second is that while I’ve done countless surveys in the past, I actually do them less and less now.
It’s not that there’s anything wrong with them, but it’s got to the point where I’m a little bored with it (I get screened out a fair bit) and don’t have as much time as I used to. I would do the surveys either on my phone or on a laptop while half watching TV, but I rarely watch much TV nowadays!
Best survey sites
If you find the right survey sites they are a totally legitimate way to boost your earnings without leaving the house (unless you find somewhere with free WiFi 🙂 ).
Plus, it’s easy to do, can fit in around “normal” living as well as the 9-5 job.
It’s certainly a great way to make a few hundred pounds of extra money a month!
While joining one alone will earn you a bit, if you sign up to surveys from multiple companies your takings will multiply too 🙂
Now this will be a bit time consuming, but it’s well worth signing up for every single one of the sites listed at the same time.
The thing is, when it comes to doing a survey you may get screened out (where they don’t need anyone else who fit your profile). So if you’re on multiple survey panels, you’ll get more email invites, have more chance of completing the surveys and getting the reward!
If you want a bit of pocket money then just join one survey panel, but if you want to earn decent takings (£200+ cash per month) then you need to be on all best survey sites listed below.
So, in no particular order, here are the eight best survey sites to join…
They also hand out extra “bucks” for finding codes on Facebook, Instagram or just be being you 🙂
You points tot up and you can exchange them for high street gift cards or cash payment via Paypal.
InboxPounds allows you to earn cash from taking surveys, reading emails, searching the web and playing online games!
The more you participate in programmes on the site, the more chances you’ll have to be sent up to 3 PaidEmails a day which can earn you even more (even if you don’t take advantage of their offer!)
As a welcome bonus, and to get your pot earning quicker, you’re able to claim a £1 sign up bonus if you join right now!
The opinions of YouGov members are widely talked about in the press (not individually but anonymously as a group). If you’ve got an opinion, this is where to share it to be heard!
Surveys last around 7 minutes each and you earn 100 just for registering to get you going.
There is quite a high payout for YouGov but it’s worth waiting for. You need to save up 5,000 points and then you’re able to cash out £50 straight to your bank (via BACS payment).
4. Valued Opinions
Valued Opinions asks you to complete surveys, but they also have other ways to share your opinions. On top of surveys, you can review advertising campaigns and test new products.
There are different membership levels and you earn badges for making achievements. You start as a Bronze member and are able to reach the highest tier of Diamond.
You can earn up to £5 per survey which you can cash out in gift vouchers for places like Amazon UK, John Lewis, M&S, Boots and many more!
5. Opinion Outpost
Opinion Outpost is one of the most popular survey sites with readers and Skint Dad community members. In addition to receiving rewards points, each survey you take part in (whether you are matched and complete the survey or not), you are entered into their quarterly prize draw.
Every four months, they pick one lucky winner who walks away with £5,000 in cash!! The more times you enter surveys, the more chance you have to enter.
The minimum payout is £2.50, which is the same as 50 points. To be paid in iTunes vouchers, you need to save up 200 points for a £10.00 iTunes Gift Card Code. For cash via PayPal and Amazon payouts, you can claim 50 points/£2.50 at a time.
Toluna is all about surveys and product testing. Make sure you complete your full profile when you sign up so you’ll be more likely to get through a survey without being screened out (you’ll also earn points for doing this).
You get 500 points just for registering plus another 1,300 for completing your profile.
When you collect enough points, you can cash them out for vouchers, PayPal transfer or can even opt to try a Giftie instant win, where you could win the virtual gift in real life.
Mingle is a market and opinion research survey site. But, it’s more than that; it also gives you opportunity to test out new products at home.
So, as well as getting free products, you also collect mingle points which you can exchange for vouchers or cash.
There is also a monthly prize draw to win an Amazon Kindle Fire.
8. Pinecone Research
Pinecone is a very popular panel, but it is hard to get accepted onto. Unlike the others, there is a screening process and if you don’t pass then you don’t get in I’m afraid.
It doesn’t mean you can’t try again another month as the membership is always changing.
They pay £3 for each completed survey which take 15 – 20 minutes each.
Surveyyeah paid surveys can be quick and easy with you being able to complete some of them in just 1 minute, however most last between 5 and 15 minutes.
Once you’ve totted up your balance to a minimum of £5 you are able to cash out to PayPal, gift vouchers or in eBooks.
Surveys are worth from £0.25 up to £4 and you should get around one invitation a week.
MySurvey gives you the chance to enter online surveys, record diaries and take part in product tests.

Some of the most popular rewards are cash paid to you via PayPal, Amazon, Homebase or Debenhams vouchers.
While these aren’t only survey sites in the world, they are best ones that don’t spam you and provide good returns and good results. There are some scam surveys out there so be careful before you rush to sign up to any others.
So, now you’re signed up, start taking the surveys and let me know which one you get on with the best.
How much are you making from surveys? And what are you going to spend your extra earnings on?
